Rakim Anim

FOUNDER / GENERAL MANAGER

Rakim has diverse experience in training youth, collegiate, and professional athletes in a variety of settings. His experience began as a volunteer strength coach at Minnesota State Mankato where he completed his Bachelors in Exercise Science. He then went on to the University of Minnesota to pursue a Masters Degree in Applied Kinesiology. At his time at the U of M, Rakim worked with the strength and conditioning staff training the following gopher teams: volleyball, women’s basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, wrestling, baseball, softball, swimming, gymnastics, swimming/diving, and rowing.

Aly McPherson

ADULT FITNESS DIRECTOR

Aly specializes in comprehensive planning for clients: Body, Mind, and Soul. She not only has an extensive background in creating workout plans, but also nutrition planning and breaking mental barriers. She fully believes in creating a lifestyle to gain long-term results. As an elite group fitness trainer, she pushes clients out of their comfort zone to not only reach their goals, but to achieve more than they ever thought possible, both in fitness and in life.

Ian McPherson

PERFORMANCE COACH

Ian comes from a unique training background. Ian transitioned from a corporate career in finance and project management to the performance training world. His passion for athletics is what drove him to make this career change. His experience of limited performance training options drives him to serve as a resource for all athletes – regardless of their sport – to constantly be striving for excellence. He spent the last 3 years working with elite baseball and softball players at Starters Sports Training as the Director of Performance Training.

Kyle Mason

PERFOMANCE COACH

Kyle has an extensive background in human performance both as a collegiate Track and Field athlete, as well as coaching in a multitude of settings. While at Hampton University, Kyle was a strength and conditioning intern who worked with 7 varsity sports. He also completed a sports performance internship at Velocity Sports Performance. After college, Kyle has worked as a strength and conditioning coach for multiple companies helping to optimize athletic performance for hundreds of athletes throughout the Twin Cities.
